Return & Refund Policy

At Artolize, each star map is custom-made based on the location, date, and personalization details you provide at checkout. Because of this, our return policy works a little differently from standard retail.
Right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers): Under EU Consumer Rights Directive (Article 16(c)) and equivalent UK consumer law, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized. Since every Artolize star map is personalized with your chosen date and location, orders cannot be cancelled or returned simply because you changed your mind once production has started.
What IS covered:
- Item arrives damaged or defective
- Item significantly differs from what you ordered (wrong location/date due to our error, wrong size, printing fault)
- Item is lost in transit
If any of the above applies, contact us within 14 days of delivery at [your support email] with your order number and photos of the issue. We'll offer a free reprint or a full refund, your choice.
How refunds are processed: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Before you order: Please double-check the location, date, and any text you enter in the star map configurator — these details are used exactly as submitted.
